Team E26 Athlete: Lindsey Grasis

“As a competitive crossfit athlete, I take my training very seriously. The equipment and gear that I use needs to be top notch to help me perform to the best of my ability. Belts, specifically, I am very particular about. I’ve been through my fair share of belts from different companies and was never satisfied. Either the Velcro would come undone, it was too bulky, did not move well, or was too complicated to adjust (especially in the middle of a workout). With the Element 26 belt, I finally do not need to worry about any of these issues. It’s incredibly comfortable, flexible, does not come undone, and has a great variety of colors. After using their belts, I’ll never be able to go back to another brand - it’s that much better! As for the tape goes, that’s right up there with the best of the best too. I use thumb tape in nearly EVERY one of my training sessions. It helps me hook grip the barbell and prevents my thumbs from ripping when holding dumbbells. It’s perfectly sticky, grippy, and affordable. I’m happy to have found Element 26; I truly believe in their products and what they’re about. I highly recommend you give them a try yourself”- Lindsey Grasis

ATHLETE BIO

My name is Lindsey Grasis, I’m a 29 year old CrossFit Affiliate Owner, Head Coach, and Competitive athlete. I’m from a very small town in central Massachusetts. I went to school at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where I received my degree in Chemical Engineering. I coached part time while in the engineering field for 3+ years after graduation, at which point I finally decided to follow my heart and pursue my passion - which is CrossFit. I left my full time job, became a full time coach, and spent time learning how to run a business. Overtime, I purchased the gym I coached at; which I now own and run today (CrossFit 1977). I’m still the head coach there, and I LOVE what I do. There’s no price tag you can put on that. As for the athlete side of things, I grew up with all boys and playing sports - including pop warner football - no joke! I’m pretty sure the need to compete and be an athlete runs in my blood. I played soccer in college, and I found CrossFit shortly after. At that point in my life, I was going through a lot (physically and mentally) and CrossFit became my saving grace. I’ve made it my mission to better myself everyday; and over the past few years, have accomplished things I never thought possible. I couldn’t even do a banded pull up when I started! Since then, I’ve competed and qualified for several sanctionals and my goal is to make to the CrossFit Games soon. If you’d like to follow my journey, you can certainly find me on Instagram (@lgrasis). Hope to see you there!
